Accepting a portal invitation for the first time

Suppliers who need to accept a Supplier Portal Invitation for the first time.
Supplier Portal invitation email is required.
If one of your customers uses Ideagen Safe Food to manage their suppliers, you may be requested to become a user of the Supplier Portal.
This article outlines the process of accepting a portal invitation.
1. Accepting an invitation
To accept an invitation:
- Open the email with the link to accept your invitation as usual.
The email will be sent from the support@safefood360.com address. - Click Accept Invitation.
You will be directed to review your invitation on Ideagen Safe Food.
If you don’t receive an email shortly, check your Spam/Junk or other folders. If it’s not there, ask your IT department about email filters. Make sure they add 'safefood360.com' and 'ideagen.com' to their safe sender list to prevent future emails from Ideagen Safe Food being blocked.
- Enter a New Password.
- Re-enter it to Confirm Password.
Your password must be a of minimum 10 characters long with at least one upper case letter, one lower case letter, one number and one special character.
- Review our Terms and Conditions by clicking the link.
- Tick I accept the Terms and Conditions.
If you do not accept the Terms and Conditions, you will not be able to fully complete your invitation and become a User of the Ideagen Safe Food Supplier Portal.
- Click Accept Invitation.
You will be directed to the sign in screen to complete the uset setup.
- Enter your Email.
- Click Continue.
The system will verify that your email address is connected to a current user.
- Enter the Password you just created.
- Click Sign in.
After three failed attempts, you will be temporarily locked out for a set amount of time. You can click Reset your password to set a new password and sign in if needed.
You're now ready to use the Supplier Portal!
