Removing a Supplier Portal User and Invitation

Users who need to remove a Supplier Portal User and Invitation.

There are several situations where you may need to remove a Supplier Portal User and Invitation, such as when a user has left the company, the wrong user was invited, or you no longer have a relationship with the supplier.
1. Navigating to the user settings
To remove a Supplier Portal User and Supplier Portal User Invitation, you must navigate to the user via the settings menu.

Important: You will only see the Settings button if you have the correct role access. Ensure that you contact your site admin if you do not have the access to complete this task.
Note: It is important to remove the Supplier Portal User first, as if the Supplier Contact is contact associated with a Supplier Portal User, you will receive an error message when editing the Supplier page, to inform you that the Supplier Contact cannot be removed as it is linked to a Supplier Portal User.
2. Locating the Supplier Portal User
The Users tab will contain all Internal Users and Supplier Portal Users. You will need to locate the Supplier Portal User from this list. You can use the Search Name field or use the navigation arrows to move easily through the pages.
- Locate your Supplier Portal User and click their blue name link to open the Supplier Portal User page.
3. Removing the Supplier Portal User
- To remove the Supplier Portal User, click the Remove User button at the bottom of the page.
- A confirmation pop-up will appear, asking you to confirm the Supplier Portal User removal.
- Click Yes to confirm.
- The Supplier Portal User will be removed and will no longer be able to log in to the Supplier Portal.
4. Locating the Supplier Portal User Invitation
The Invitations tab lists all Internal and Supplier Portal User Invitations. Find the Supplier Portal User Invitation by using the Search Name field or the navigation arrows to browse pages.
- Once you have located your Supplier User Invitation, click on the name of the Supplier Portal User Invitation you wish to remove. The Supplier Portal User Invitation name will be in blue text, which indicates a link.
5. Removing the Supplier Portal User Invitation
- To remove the Supplier Portal User Invitation, click the Remove Invitation button at the bottom of the page.
- A confirmation pop-up will appear, asking you to confirm the Supplier Portal User Invitation removal.
- Click Yes to confirm.
- The Supplier Portal User Invitation will be removed.
Important: If an email or 24-hour contact is added to a Supplier Contact with alerts set to email or SMS, alerts are sent automatically. To stop alerts after removing the Supplier Portal User, move the email and 24-hour contact details to the Notes field on the Supplier page. This keeps the information without triggering alerts. When completing assessments without the Supplier Portal, ensure Supplier Contacts are correctly set to avoid unwanted alerts.
